Albert Schweitzer played in St Giles’ in June 1932, and the funds from all his organ concerts went to support the work of the leper hospital he founded in Lambarene in Gabon; Reverence for Life UK continues to work with similar institutions, as well as supporting environmental projects.  The proceeds from Saturday’s concert will be in aid of the charity’s work. https://www.reverenceforlife.org.uk/about
