A message from the Minister of St. Giles’, Calum I MacLeod
Welcome to the website of St. Giles’ Cathedral, Edinburgh, Scotland. St Giles’ is the High Kirk of Edinburgh, positioned at the heart of the Scottish capital since it was founded in 1124. In the 16th century St Giles’ became the focal point of the Scottish Reformation and consequently the church is regarded as the Mother Church of World Presbyterianism.
Whilst we are now reopened for services and visitors, we appreciate not everyone will want, or be able, to come back to St Giles’ straight away. We will continue to offer digital ways of interacting- details of the services can be found here.
As you enjoy our website we ask that you consider supporting the ongoing ministry of St. Giles’ by making a donation here.
Blessings to you and yours.
