Reverend Calum I. MacLeod

Born in Scotland, Calum studied in Glasgow where he obtained a BA in Economics from the University of Strathclyde and a BD in Divinity from the University of Glasgow. From 1994 until 1997 he was Probationer Assistant and then Assistant Minister of St Columba’s Church of Scotland, London, where he was Ordained in March 1996. Appointed to the staff of Fourth Presbyterian Church, Chicago [PCUSA] in September 1997 he has served that congregation in a number of capacities concluding as Executive Associate Pastor and Head of Staff.

St Giles’ Assistant Ministers

Reverend Helen Alexander

Rev Helen Alexander was born and brought up in Edinburgh. A graduate of Glasgow University, she was Assistant Minister in St Giles’ from 1980 – 1983 and was ordained here in 1981. She has qualifications in social work and psychoanalytical psychotherapy and has worked in these fields as well as in parish ministry and university chaplaincy. Following a period of ministry with the Uniting Church in Australia, she returned to Edinburgh and to St Giles’ in 2009.

Reverend Craig Meek

Born in the United States, Craig is an ordained minister of the Presbyterian Church (USA). He holds degrees from Pittsburgh Theological Seminary and John Brown University, and is currently a postgraduate student at New College Divinity School in Edinburgh. Prior to arriving in Scotland, he served churches outside of Pittsburgh, PA and Washington, DC.
