For this Monday in advent, we’re pointing you towards a different church. Dalmeny Kirk is one of the best examples of a mediaeval church in Scotland. It’s finely carved doorway is a prime example of Romanesque architecture, and gives us an idea of what the Romanesque door at St Giles’ may have looked like. Prior to lockdown, it was open by appointement or every Tuesday. You can find out more information here
