Afternoon Concert Series 

Hymers College Junior School Choir 

Hymers College Junior School Choir comes from Hull, East Yorkshire. The choir, which is un-auditioned, is one of three choirs in the Junior School and consists of children who are in Year 6 – aged10 and 11. The choir also enjoys performing successfully at local music festivals as well as at charity events. In 2016,the choir was privileged to sing alongside Aled Jones as part of his Cathedral Tour. They enjoy singing a range of repertoire, from hymns and inspirational songs to songs from shows.

This concert will be the first time that the choir have sung to a live audience since January 2020 and they are very much looking forward to the experience.

They are led by Mrs Tracey Redhead, Head of Junior School Music.

Harpsichord and recorder player Corina Marti is internationally recognized for her ‘strikingly superior’ and ‘expressive’ (Toccata) interpretations, and ‘infallible’ (Diapason) technique. Today, she presents a concert of keyboard music from Renaissance Poland.
