The Algoma Community Band was formed in 1978.    Our playing members come from all walks of life and range from young adults all the way up to ladies and gentlemen in their 80’s!

Each August the band plays in the Algoma Shanty Days parade and concert.  In the past, the band has been a very popular marching group in various parades in Wisconsin.  They are very visible in the community and county playing concerts for Veterans Day, After Taxes, Band-O-Rama, Concert in the Park, Christmas, and at other local functions.   

The repertoire for this year’s concert tour of the UK will include some fabulous music including contemporary songs from Jersey Boys, Queen, Grease and Elton John to old favourites such as Loch Lomond and Amazing Grace.
