Cathedral: Into Tomorrow

What kind of saint do we need in the world today?

The performance brings together poetry, choral singers young and old, professional and from diverse communities, The Wallace Collection and the Cooperation Band to explore the question: who are the unsung heroes in our communities? – who brings us light and inspires our future? St Giles' 900 has commissioned the Edinburgh Makar (the city poet) Hannah Lavery, to create a prose/poem reflecting Giles the saint, which provides the narrative for the event, where she also performs the poem.
