Afternoon Concert Series: Levedy Ensemble UK

Levedy Ensemble is an exciting voice and harp quintet who originally met through Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance.
Levedy Ensemble has found a niche performing works for upper voices with harp. Formed of opera singers with choral backgrounds, and a multifaceted harpist, Levedy seeks to push the boundaries of the classic ethereal voice-harp ensemble sound and create instead and rich, robust and full-bodied scape.

Programme:
Holst – Rig Veda no2
Strozzi – Che si puo fare
Poulton Richards – Alone Together (new song cycle written for group)
Renie – Piece Symphonique (solo harp)
Schumann – Romanze
Delibes – Flower Duet
Offenbach- Barcarolle
Holst – Rig Veda no4

Funded by The Cockaigne Fund (Parent Programme), administered by Foundation Scotland.
