900 VOICES AT ST GILES’ CATHEDRAL

Join us to experience the 900 Voices sound installation at two special evening openings in October.

Friday 18th 18:30 - 21:30
Saturday 19th 17:30 - 21:30

900 VOICES is a participative project by Zoë Irvine with Lindsay Perth and Jules Rawlinson. The sound installation explores ideas of belonging, connection and community, blending voices from hundreds of Edinburgh citizens.

The work is active for 20-30 minute cycles and pauses before starting a new cycle. Each cycle of 900 Voices is unique and we continue to add to the database of conversations until the end of the year.

900 Voices was commissioned as part of St Giles’ 900th anniversary celebrations. It received Creative Scotland funding and launched in the Edinburgh International Festival. 900 Voices continues to have performances – please see St Giles’ Cathedral’s website for any upcoming dates.

Tickets available at Eventbrite.
